A holiday is only truly complete with good food, a nice glass of wine and cosy evenings together. At Camping Le Clou in the Dordogne, everything is about relaxed enjoyment, soaking up the sun, the views and the wonderful atmosphere on the terrace.

A few times a week we organise our table d’hôtes, a fixed and much-loved moment for many guests. At long shared tables, you enjoy a freshly prepared three-course dinner, often made with local ingredients from the Dordogne such as confit de canard, truffles, fresh strawberries, French cheeses and wines from Bergerac or Bordeaux.

The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Children have their own menu and often go off to play again afterwards, giving the adults time to linger at the table and enjoy good conversation. We alternate French dishes with, for example, specialities from Italian cuisine, so there is always something tasty for everyone. For those who wish, a matching wine pairing is also available.

These are the evenings when the campsite truly comes together, with good food, great company and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere.

Terrace – A Lively Spot All Day Long

Our sun-drenched terrace is the place where the true camping atmosphere comes to life. In the morning, you can enjoy fresh croissants, baguettes and pains au chocolat from the bread service, served with a nice cup of coffee. Later in the day, it is the perfect spot to sit down for a refreshing drink, a glass of wine or a freshly tapped beer.

For something tasty to share, we serve snack platters and nachos, ideal for a relaxed afternoon or a cosy evening together.

Snacks and Pizzas

From 4.00 pm, you can enjoy an easy meal with us such as pizzas, fries, croquettes, frikandellen and other snacks. Everything is available for takeaway, but it is just as nice to enjoy it together on the terrace with a drink.
