Campsite Le Clou lies in the heart of the Dordogne. This family friendly campsite, owned by two Dutch families, has a total area of 3,5 hectares (7,4 acres) and is located on a sunny southern hill. The 90 separate camping places and 20 rented accommodations are spread on the beautiful grounds. Different kinds of trees and plants make the campsite a nice park where privacy, shade and sun are provided.

The beautiful swimming pool has a slide and there is a shallow pool for younger children. The presence of various sports fields, the restaurant and the pleasant terrace in between two typical Perigord-buildings, will make your vacation unforgettable. In summertime one can fully enjoy entertainment for all ages.

Within short distance from the campsite a noteworthy amount of sights can be found, such as castles, caves, prehistoric excavations and Middle Age-towns like Sarlat and Domme. Besides, there are many opportunities for sportsmen to go hiking, cycling and canoeing.

Le Clou is an official ANWB-campsite (Dutch royal tourist organisation). With a ACSI Camping Card it is possible to stay at the campsite for only € 13,00 in low season (spring and late summer).
